Ester's POV “Hun... I miss you.” My mate’s voice echoes clearly in my head, sweet and longing, but I can’t respond. This isn’t the first time. Every time I regain consciousness, I faintly hear the rhythmic beeping of a heart monitor and the murmur of my surroundings. Yet, before I can fully wake, I’m pulled back into the deep abyss of sleep. The pain in my body lingers, but my heart aches more—for him and for my babies.
