Lucas's POV Being an Alpha of a pack as big as Golden Crescent was never a joke. I remember my parents working their asses off, like there's no tomorrow. Neglecting their pups on the way. Lucky us we have Freddie and Aunt Maria to watch over us, they act like our parents more than our biological ones. They were there when we fought, cooked for us, hugged us when we had a bad day, tucked us in, and many more. I was the future Alpha and I promised myself to change that tradition. I will prove to everyone that being a good Alpha doesn't mean you have to neglect your family. My parents died when I was 17 years old. Force me to take my title far before I was ready. Even though I was raised with the idea and trained to be one, I mind you that the transition is hell difficult. Lucky me again,
