Chapter 7Pax “Jesus, that was hot!” Pax snatched off his headphones and dropped them somewhere, shaking out his hands, grinning. The sound engineer laughed. Scott looked radiant in there, and the rest of the players were clearly hyped up. “How long since the last break?” The engineer told him. Pax switched on the com and said into the mic, “Take ten, everybody.” Then he stood up and stretched, telling himself sternly not to listen to the recording yet.
