“WHAT?! You…… You are breaking up with me? You- You are kidding me right?” I utter in total surprise.
Alex was gone the next morning when I wake up so I waited for him while I compress my bruises. I called him but he didn’t answer his cell phone so I head towards his apartment and prepare him some dinner but when he returned he suddenly said he is breaking up with me. I am beyond surprised and I can’t believe what he said.
“Alex… are- are you really sure about that?” I ask as I look at her.
He looks away with a heavy sigh before he looks at me and all I can see is no emotion in his cold eyes. This man in front of me is not the Alex I had known and loved. It is as if I am in front of a stranger. Looking at him… I am sure something had happened to make him break up with me.
