Aurora There's darkness, total darkness, as Keira is low in my head. I can feel my head throbbing and my body weak against a cold, hard surface. I whimpered slightly, trying to force my eyes open, but I couldn't. It felt as though my eyelids were sealed shut, heavy, stiff, and aching. Still, I didn’t stop, even as pain shot through me once again. I pushed harder, forcing them open until my vision finally gave in.
