I woke up the next morning with a cheesy smile on my face and remembered the kiss from last night. The way he kissed me last night made me want to kiss him even more than ever, and surprisingly, that was my very first kiss. Every girl's dream is to be kissed like in a fairytale story where the prince saves the princess and at the end of the story with a magical kiss, just like in the Disney princess stories. My first kiss was everything I imagined, with him holding me in his arms and having that magical fireworks-spark sensation when our lips touched together. Some girls' first kiss can be magical, or it can be a horror, like a psycho stalker guy who has a huge crush on your type of kiss. I feel bad for these girls who first kissed like that, because no girl should be scared during their first kiss. Anyways, after I woke up, got dressed, and was ready for the day with packing my backpack and cheer bag, I went downstairs to the kitchen to help my mom with cooking breakfast while Kaylie and her mom were helping the younger kids get ready for another day at school. While walking into the kitchen, I saw Hazel stuffing her face like a chipmunk because someone told her that we were leaving in like five minutes, which was not true; she is always the first one done with any meal we have, and surprisingly, she never gets a smooch ache from eating too fast. Hazel loves eating so much that she ends up being hyper all the time due to having a high metabolism, which she happens to get from our father, and for a little girl, she can be feisty when it comes to someone else trying to take her food away.Once she bit a classmate at school because he took her cupcake without asking, and we will just say my mother was not too happy when she had to go pick her up from school and the boys got in trouble for teaching her to bite other people. The boys are not allowed to teach her anything except for things like sports, basic kindergarten things, proper manners, princess tea parties, and other daily things that young children do. Anyways, I asked Hazel..."Hey Hazel, do you want to ride with Kaylie and me or the boys to school today?" I said this while picking up some sandwiches for our lunches."I want to go with you and Kylie today because Colton drives way too fast, like he is a race car driver, which scares me," Hazel said while putting bags of cookies in the lunch bags."Well, for now, you are going to start riding with Charlie and Kaylie." "I do not want you to be in a car accident with Colton, who is driving crazily, and I am going to have to talk to him about driving." Mom said with a worried facial expression on her face."Ooo... Someone is going to be in trouble. "Mommy, are you going to ground him and take his car away?" Hazel said while putting some juice boxes in her lunch bag."Well, I gave him three warnings already with his driving; I am taking his keys away when he comes down here soon," Mom said while she was finishing packing about six lunches."Oh boy, so who is driving today?" Hazel said while putting her lunch box in her bookbag."Well, since I cannot drive today due to helping your father with Harvest Fest ideas, you can take the minivan if you like, or I can have Troy drive." "At least Hazel will not need to wear a helmet," mom said while double counting the lunch bags."BOYS! COME ON. We don't want to be late for school. "I HAVE A LUNCH DATE WITH A BOY AT SCHOOL!" Hazel screams at the top of her lungs while running towards the kitchen stairs."You got a date with a boy at school?" "You are only four years old; what on earth is going on in today's world?" Mom said while looking like she was going to have a mini heart attack."Who has a date?" Colton said while running into the kitchen and putting on his football hoodie."Hazel has a cute little lunch date with a boy in her class, and it's so cute, Colton," Kaylie said while checking her bookbag."Oh, hell no!" Colton said angrily while packing the rest of his football stuff into his bookbag."Damn Colt, it's just a play date; you know, like when you were her age, but you had a childhood wedding," Troy said while pouring himself a cup of milk."Oh, hush, I only did it because you made me, and it was a bet," Colton said while looking at Troy."Alright, since it's time to leave for school or you all will be late if you don't leave now, Colton, you are not driving today or for a few weeks, so you will have to take the minivan because of your driving. There is no excuse to drive fast while having your baby sister in the car, and tonight we will discuss when you get your keys back. "Have a good day at school everyone," Mom said while helping Hazel get her jacket and backpack on."Hey, Colt, can you please not get pulled over or, even worse, kill us in the van this morning?" I said jokingly."Ha-ha, very funny." "I am laughing so hard that my stomach hurts," Colton said while grabbing the van keys off the key hook by the kitchen door. "I am laughing so hard that my stomach hurts," Colton said while grabbing the van keys off the key hook by the kitchen door.About ten minutes later we were finally at school; surprisingly, the ride to school was not as bad as I thought. We did not get pulled over by the police or even worse, like being killed. Once we parked the van in our parking spot, we all started to walk into school together, ready to start another day at school. Kaylie and my locker are right next to each other, while the boy's lockers are farther down the long hallway, and at least our lockers are not on the other side of the school. Anyways, the school morning went so fast that it was lunchtime, which is a good thing because I am hungry, and I love pasta day.Sometimes I wonder what type of pasta it is because sometimes pasta is not good at all, especially with some types of dishes. Anyways, today is the day where I get to see my crush, and I do not make a fool of myself, especially right in front of him.The morning went super-fast, especially because the flash messes with time. Finally, it was lunchtime, which, thank God, means that soon I will be chewing on the caps of my pens, which happens to be a bad habit. Thankfully, I get to spend some of my lunchtimes working on my art projects and, well, of course, eating with my group of crazy mutts. I saw Kaylie in the hallway while she was walking down the hallway with the boys; the look on her face looked like she wanted to escape from the boys talking about the first football game this Friday night. I walked right up to her, linked my arm with hers like we did as kids, and started to talk to her down the hall."Hey girly, you must be hungry, especially when I can hear your stomach rumbling," Kaylie said while checking her phone."Yeah, I am hungry; do you think it will be chicken alfredo today for pasta day?" I asked while guiding her through the hallway crowd."Did someone say chicken Alfredo?" You know how much I love chicken Alfredo. Troy said while looking up from his phone, which happens to be on a dating app."Yeah, I did, and you should get off those dating apps." Who knows you might end up with a stalker or even a serial killer; I read that that can happen especially with some weird people in the world? I said this while looking around the hallway for Alecx."Wait, what are you guys talking about?" Max said while fixing his hair after making out with a girl that he met a few days ago."You know what? Never mind; let us eat." "I am starving," I said while we were walking into the cafeteria with everyone and grabbing a tray for lunch. We finally got our lunches. I was right with chicken Alfredo for pasta day. We even got to choose what kind of sides we would like, and I happened to stick with some potatoes, cooked vegetables, and of course a piece of chocolate cake that goes perfectly with my milk. Once we all got our food, we sat at our regular table and began to eat our lunches when Alecx spotted me from the lunch line and started to walk over to our table when suddenly, he tripped and fell, and his food went all over the floor. I would imminently get up and walk over to him to see if he were okay and ask him."Oh my gosh, are you okay, Alecx?" I asked while helping him pick up some stuff off the floor."Yeah, I am okay; I was distracted by something, and I'm embarrassed now," Alecx said while cleaning his soup and food off his pants."At least you didn't hit your head on the table and end up in the nurse's office." "Our nurse is hot, and I would bang her if I had the chance," Max said while picking up Alecx's backpack."Dude, that is so gross, especially when she is only twenty-something years old and just graduated from college," Troy said while helping clean up the food off the floor."Hey, don't say that while we have the girls in our presence and there are teachers nearby too," Colt said while holding a trash bag for us."Yeah, we don't need to hear that, and is this, Charlie?" Kylie said while looking at Alecx's drawing book."Um, you don't need to see that," Alecx said while trying to grab his drawing book out of Kaylie's hands."Is this me?" "This is a beautiful drawing," I said while looking at the drawing."Yes, it is; I have been working on it ever since our coffee date," Alecx said, starting to blush and looking around to avoid some eyes connecting with mine."You two went on a date without me knowing?" Colt said, sounding mad."Relax, it was for a school project that ended up as a date," I said while looking at Colt."Well, this is awkward, and I am going to see if there are any extra brownies that I can buy for Hazel and Hunter," Kaylie said while walking backward."Hey, we will come too because sometimes the lunch ladies give us some free treats because they love us," Troy said while pulling Max away from us and following Kaylie. While they walked away to give us some privacy, I looked at Alecx and then Colton in silence. Kaylie was right, this is very awkward, especially when I did not tell Colton because I knew he would be angry since he is very protective of me and does not want anything to happen to me. I hope Colton can at least give Alecx a chance to let us get to know each other better. I do hope Colton does not kidnap Alecx and have him tied up to a chair in the basement like the last time I liked a boy, which happened a year ago. Anyway, I finally said"Maybe we should talk about this when we get home, Colt, and not in front of everyone in the lunchroom because everyone is staring at us," I said while finishing cleaning up the mess that was on the floor."Yeah, we are going to talk about this at home, and Alecx, I have my eyes on you," Colton said while picking up his book bag from the table."Alright, see you later, Colt," I said while putting some hand sanitizer on my hands and rubbing them together."Well, that was one way to tell your brother about us, and anyway, I need to go talk to my mother about something, so see you later, cupcake," Alecx said while grabbing his things off the table."Yeah, see you later, and hopefully my brother can chill or something." I do not need to make anything more awkward. "Bye," I said while picking up my empty tray to throw away. After I walked away from Alecx, I threw out all the trash and placed my tray on the dirty pile of trays. I walked to my next class, but first I stopped at my locker to change my books for the rest of the day of school. The afternoon classes went by fast; it was finally the end of the day. I got to drive home because I wanted to drive and to make sure the younger kids do not end up throwing up in the car, especially when one of the boys is driving. When I got home, Colton gave me the whole "big brother" talk about dating and how protective he is.Anyways, it was so weird to listen to him talk about dating when he is the one who needs the dating advice, especially with having a fling with random girls every week, and I wonder where he gets that from. Thanks to Troy, they are both football players. It was finally bedtime. I swear I am in a steak coma where I cannot even get up from my bed, which somehow Hazel ended up sleeping on. I told Kaylie she could sleep in my bed too, but before I did that, she was fast asleep with Hazel and snoring away. I put some blankets on them and crawled into bed and fell asleep.
