Scrying (as defined by the unwritten code of spellcasters): crystal gazing or the magical art of seeing the future or spying on one’s enemies, friends, or anyone. It was one part of the world of wizards that had eluded Esmerelda. She had heard stories about it from Meebe, who did not know its secrets either. Meebe had shared what she did know, but that did not include any knowledge of the art of scrying, nor had she used it. She desperately wanted to know the deepest mysteries of this flavor of mojo.
