When Mrs Walter got home she didn't smile not even a word to her husband, that night her heart was filled with fear, she now regrets her actions on why she had never treated Mira right, why didn't she take care of her like her own, if only she knew her mother died during birth, she thought she was abandoned by all this young girls, she never knew her mom was dead so many thought ran through her mind but the deed has already be done and she just want to make it right, so she made up mind to apologize to Mira. The next day it was on Sunday morning Mira prepared for church as usual with Mrs Okoro on their way to church they saw a man who was lost not knowing his direction he asked Mira and Mrs Okoro, his introduced himself as Mr Martins, he told them he was going to Angelica Catholic Church that he couldn't remember because it been long since he left the country, Mrs Okoro told him they were going to the same church, he was happy and decided to give them a lift. Inside the car the man told them why he came back from the country and also told them about the hospital where his child was taken, he told them that his wife died during childbirth and he was not around due to the nature of his work he couldn't come but his mind was not at rest and told his friend to take both his dead with and the baby to a morgue that he want to do a DNA test on his child his friend refused at first but still did it and the result show he was not the father, based on his work he was unable to come back and told his friend to tell his people to bury his dead wife and child and also helped him keep the DNA result, now that his back he would find her and bring her home. Mira told the man she was also born at that day and year at that same hospital, she told him her father used to tell her and remind her how she was born. Mr martins liked Mira and had a strong connection towards her. When they got to church he could take his eyes off Mira, then he brought out his phone so curious and desperate, he checked his wife photo and looked at Mira then a saw a mark on her shoulder that mark was also on his wife right shoulder, he didn't say a word but kept calm. After church service he offered to take Mira home and they accept when they got there he asked Mira about her father, Mira told him that her father was at home he was confused and asked why she was not at home with her parent and whose child she was carrying, Mira told him it was hers, he didn't want to push things, as he was about to leave Mr Walter came to see Mira, Mira was happy to see her father, they both hugged each other then he shakes hands with Mr Okoro and Mr Matins, Mira introduced her father to him and they both exchange pleasantries, Then Mr Martins left for his home the mark on Mira's shoulder never left his mind. Mira and her father chatted happy for a very very long time with no disturb and no one shouting at her, her father invited Mira to come over for Christmas but Mira told her father that she was scared and don't want her mother to get angry but her father insisted that she must come and Mira agreed then she told her father about Mr Martins lost child she gave him every details of what the man said, Mr Walter told her that life itself was cruel and there are many wicked nurses at there who are looking for quick money and all they could come about is to sell children to ritual and other women, after she and her father finished talking he told her that he wanted to go home and he would be expecting her in a week time. When Mr Walter got home he saw his wife at the living room staring at one place, the he called out to her honey what is wrong, what happened his wife told him nothing and asked him where he went, he told her he went to see Mira she didn't expect that answer and asked him how he knew about her were about, he told her about Mira's visit at the prison and how she offen comes to see him with food and drinks, his wife was shocked she didn't know what to say but kept asking him questions like did she tell you anything, hope she told you how she ran away from home I didn't chase her ooo, he calmed her down and told her she didn't say anything but just said so many things has happened to her, that life has stored so many things she had never wished for, he told her Mira will be home for Christmas that he wants to unit all of them together, as they here were discussing he told his wife about a child that was missing in the hospital she birth all her children, that it was the same year, same month and same day with Mira and hoped the man would find his child, the looked on his was face was not good, she panic and struggle to talk or reply then she excused herself and pretended to go make dinne.

A week later Mira went to her father's house as planned and met her older siblings there she greeted them but there was no reply from them, she went into the living room and met her father there chatting with her mother she ran towards her father and gave him a hug the father took her child from her and they were playing together, Mira looked at the house that almost took her life, the same house she used to call her home but because of her fathers love for her she was maltreated and that was how she ended up, she was still looking around when her mother called her and asked her if she was hungry she replied coldly then her mother went to the kitchen to bring food for her. There was a sudden knock on the door with arguments and cries from out side, when Mr and Mrs Walter came out they saw the nurse and kelvin with some police men with them was Mr. Martins, Mira did know what was going on and why kelvin was handcuffed with an advanced lady, then the nurse starting shouting that it was all Mrs Walter's fault, that she was the one who took the child and paid her 30 thousand naira. Mrs Walter went on her knees and apologized to Mira and her husband that she was the one who told kelvin to be friend with Mira and also make her life miserable, she looked at the woman who claimed to be her mother and tears roll down her cheeks but kelvin was arrested for stealing. Mira was taken away by her father and her child she was later sent to school and her child was well taken care of, she didn't forget the man she first saw as her father, the same man who killed for her of course she can't forget him. When she graduated and started work then she truely say that life has stored so many things for everyone but it can't be either good or bad but hers was both. The End
