Daisy’s POV I sit in the bathtub, arms wrapped around my legs, and stare at the wall in front of me. I feel Noah climb in behind me, hear the rustle of his clothes as he lowers himself into the tub and scoots forward. I should be embarrassed for asking him to stay, about the fact I’m sitting in my underwear in front of my best friend’s little brother, but I don’t. Part of me knows that I’ve gone into shock, the adrenaline of the crash, having worn off to be replaced by a numbness spiked with irrational fear. I feel Noah reach around me, grabbing the loofah and shower gel before he starts to wash my back.
