Eralia’s POV
‘Thank you, please come again’ I say to the older woman as I hand her the bag of cakes and her change.
She smiles back at me before shuffling toward the door that swings open as she approaches, my brother Tanner barrelling through the door as Benny stands back, holding it open for the woman to pass.
‘Rali!’ Tanner screams excitedly, skidding to a halt on the other side of the cabinet and beaming up at me. ‘I had the best day!’
I wipe off my hands and walk around the counter, dropping down to my knees as my little brother dives at me, hugging me tightly.
‘You did huh?’ I ask, returning his hug, ‘what did you do?’
