“My dad will be coming to get me.” I say “I’m going to Connecticut for a while” I finish.
I’m at the gym with Jess and Mags, I was able to drag them to the gym today.
“What?” Jessica shouted and turned off the treadmill.
“You never go home, you hate traveling. Are you relocating?” Don’t you dare say that.” She continued.
“No, I’m not relocating. I just want a change of environment for a little while.” I assure her.
“We’ll miss you, how long will you be gone?” Mags asked quietly. Since her mom fell ill, she’s been very quiet and withdrawn.
“I don’t know how long I’ll stay there, but I plan to spend more than a couple of days.” I say.
