“Hi Oz” Maggie greets me weakly.
“Mags! You scared me.” I tell her before hugging her.
“Take it easy, my body still hurts.” She tells me and I quickly back off. She attempts to laugh
“Nathan is still here. Should I call him in?” I ask her and her face brightens up.
“He’s still here. With Jason” I add reluctantly.
“Call both of them in.” She asks me and I obey.
Nathan was all worried, touching her face and arm, asking questions repeatedly. I smiled because that was a man with feelings for my friend. It was unfortunate that they couldn’t see that they had mutual interest in each other.
“Hey Maggie. You’re granted a one month leave. Rest well, you have to get well soon.” We all turned as we heard Jason awkwardly say this from the door. He was fidgeting. No way was one of the big shots
