XXI: Goodbye
They found themselves stuck onto the emergency exit of the building. It was dark with only red lights on and looking below, it seems as if there were some of those creatures that have gathered there as well. Jay got a graze from a bullet and it was staining the white clothes he was wearing. “Jay your arm.” Ava pointed out and it was just then that Jay realized that he was wounded. She pulled out the handkerchief she was using as a hair tie and Jay was sort of familiar with it. “I thought I’ve lost it.” Jay commented as he watched Ava tie the handkerchief onto his arm. The handkerchief was the one Jake gave him back at school and he realized that it’s been a while since they’ve spent their time together.
