16 Erika looked out from the sliding glass door. “Rain. Again,” she muttered to herself. She finally made it out of New York and she couldn’t even go outside and enjoy it because it rained every day. She paced the room, wondering what she was going to do with her day. She was used to activity. To working for crying out loud. Sitting around all day was getting boring. She expected excitement and fun. Instead she’d been depressed. The rain wasn’t helping. Erika wondered, again, if she’d made the right decision. She knew it had been hers, but she really wasn’t sure if she’d done the best thing. Edward was a good man. And she’d be grateful to him forever, she knew that without a doubt.
