Car Accident

I stared at them trying to see if they were lying right in my face, but with their heads held high and standing tall at me, it looked like they were not lying at all. I plainly smiled and nodded, grabbed my bag and walked ahead of them. I should be yelling right now, expressing my shocked reactions knowing that I was already staying in this room for a week and no one got the idea of telling the truth the moment I woke up. That guy, the one who called me on the phone, snuck in the bag like he was really determined to hide everything with his naked eye. I walked through the little hallway of the hotel until I reached the door. I grabbed the doorknob but did not turn it open wide. Am I really ready to face the reality beyond this door? Can I really fight the people behind this k********g? Am I kidn*pped here? I plainly remembered a man and we were screwing inside the car, but the next thing was so blurry that I cannot remember any of those details.

"Ma'am?" I snapped back as I heard a voice of the man behind me, I finally turned the doorknob and walked out of the door. I walked through the majestic hallways of the hotel and strode confidently on my way towards the elevator.

"Ma'am, this way." a man said in front of me and pointed, in the opposite direction. I looked on where I was and I perfectly knew that I was at the right place where to wait for a lift, but why is he telling me to go to the opposite way?

I did not say anything despite of my huge mistrust towards these two men who were wearing a black suit and tuxedo tie, they really made an effort to look legit for men planning to kidnap someone like me. I followed them and I saw another elevator at the end of the hallway, first impressions? it looked like people who are born on a golden spoon would be the only ones to step inside this space. One of them pressed the elevator button and scanned a card on to it, I looked on every action they were doing and they were really a trained ones.

"Please get in, ma'am." one said as soon as the elevator opened and I quickly heeded his words.

Silence filled the whole four walled enclosed space and now they were standing in front of me, on both my sides. The elevator opened and they walked out, as one went behind me and the other one went in front of me, to guide me out of the hotel. I felt like some celebrity circled by bodyguards in case that someone would throw some egg of hate into my face.

A great black looking car stopped in front of me as the doors opened automatically. I looked towards the driver's seat but he was wearing the same tuxedo as those men who picked me up. I suddenly got the trust of this person, even though he did not say anything to me to get in the car, I did it anyway. What more do I have to say? If they really knew me and if I was in the middle of something dangerous, in which I instinctively say that I am not, nothing would lose on my part.

I got in, as the door automatically closed as soon as I sat on this plushie seat. I felt like my butt was treated so well that it would be rejecting any seats that are not similar to this one.

"Where are we going?" I asked to the man and I noticed him glancing over the rear mirror.

"The CEO, wanted to meet you." he answered and I nodded.

"Do you mean, Draven Ashstone?" I asked to him.

"Yes, ma'am." he politely answered and I crossed my legs.

"Who is he?" after all the deliberations I made in my mind, I gathered my strength to ask him that stupid question.

"What?" I heard him mumble and I awkwardly smiled.

"Who is that man, Draven Ashstone?" I repeated and he nodded.

"He is currently the number one business tycoon in the country, he owns the Hashe Electronics and a group of companies," he answered and I literally dropped my jaw in very much shock.

"And I am meeting that huge guy? Who am I to do that?" I exclaimed to him and he seriously looked at me.

"You are his wife." he answered and I stopped, no, everything in me stopped. My mind, my blood, the beat of my heart and even the blood circulating my body - means, I am dropped dead with my eyes opened.

I slowly moved my back towards the seat and looked outside through the window. I tried to press the button to pull the windows down but it did not work, it looked like this man locked them up and now I am really in a k********g situation. I was silently sitting when I noticed a huge truck that was driving so fast. I thought that maybe the driver could have a little consideration for other people driving beside him, accident is everywhere, it is very dangerous. But I noticed that something is strange, the driver seemed panicking as I saw his expressions from here where I was staying, he was restless and even kept moving from side to side.

"Can you drive in front of that truck?" I asked to the man and he looks on me.

"Pardon?" he asked and I looked in front, there are pedestrians, and the lights were red.

"I said drive in front of that truck!" I yelled and he snapped, quickly do what I said and now we are driving towards the front of the car, chasing its speedy tracks.

"Ma'am, it is dangerous. What are you planning to do?" he asked to me but I do not have any time to answer him.

I removed my heels and left my bag at the backseat, started to move towards the passenger's seat with this kind of speed we have.

"We must make everyone be safe from here." I firmly said to him and he nodded. I let him drive, whenever direction the truck was moving, and I kept pressing the honks as hard as I could. I saw people from the side roads were looking at us, their attention was taken and it was directed towards us. Now, we just have to make some movement to these cars. I moved towards the steering wheel to unlock the windows and now I successfully pulled it down. I made a huge hand gestures like something is going on and they needed to move aside.

"Ma'am, we cannot continue being the decoy. What if we became the victims? The president would kill me." he worriedly said to me and I scoffed.

"I will personally the one to kill you if we created a huge accident in this highway. So, drive." I firmly said to him and he just nodded in agreement.

The drive continued until we off from the highway, the truck still got no control over the breaks and I needed to find a place had the driver could crash the car safely, probably some construction parts of the road with sand and cement on it, or even a place without people- but I did not see any of that! So, as we continued driving further, we were now moving towards the coast, wherein beside the road were cliffs and towards the sea. This is not a good place. How in the world did I not know that a place like this existed in this direction?

"Ma'am, we really have to turn around." he said to me and I glared, on him.

"No!" I yelled and held the steering wheel when I noticed that he would make some changes.

"You cannot save the driver giving up already." he said to me and I looked back, I could see the terror on the driver's face and I could let him die.

"Stop the car." I firmly said.

"What?!" he yelled at me and I glared on him.

"Stop the car on the side and let the truck crash on that direction." I said and pointed towards the way where there is no people and away from the cliff.

"How could I do that?" he exclaimed and now was about to cry.

"Just stop the car when I said to, okay?" I exclaimed and he nodded. I looked back, trying to make a great timing of everything.

"Stop!" I yelled and I heard a loud screech on the breaks as we stopped where I planned to. The side of the truck crashed behind us, but this is not the impact I was expecting. It all went to my plan, the truck crashed into us, and finally made a sharp turn towards that direction where I had pointed earlier, but I did not include in my plan that we would be pushed as hard as this and now it was rolling down the cliff.

Everything went too fast, but I cannot narrate everything, my head hurts like hell. I held on to it and there was a lot of blood, I thought it was already done - when the car moved and went down to the forest in the speed of light. Everything blacks out.
