"What if I don't want to know the answer?" I grumbled.
"Too damn bad," he said, slapping my arm. "No matter what we see on the footage later, we're finding out whatever it is that little spark is hiding from us."
"Whatever," I replied, knowing Karma was going to do what he wanted anyway. "What about all the other bullsh.it we're dealing with?" I asked. "Ya know, with those missing kids and that organization C.G. found attached to it all."
"I'm still figuring it out," Karma said. "I'm waiting to hear back from someone, and C.G. gets more and more information every day. It's just taking time. Whatever that organization is and whoever is funding it must have money, because sh.it's hidden."
"And in the meantime, we get to play the white knights in Blythe's little fairy-tale," I grumbled.
