I jumped at the sound of someone screeching my name. In fact, I jumped so hard that I hit my head on the hood of the car I was working on. I cursed and rubbed the back of my head as I stood up. I looked up to see my twin stomping through the garage in my direction. Johnny was behind her, looking pi.ssed off. We shared a look, one that said he tried to stop her, but she wasn't having it.
Great. And to think that I thought I left early enough to avoid everyone today. No one usually bothers me at the garage. Except the time that Nikki showed up. Everly's only ever shown up here a couple of times. Usually it was because she needed money and couldn't find Dad.
