VII - "First Day Of Training" (part 2)

509 Words
I took some fresh clothes, because all I was wearing before was sweaty after my training. I went to the shore and quickly washed myself in the water. I put on fresh clothes I prepared and cleaned the old ones in the lake. I hung the wet clothes on the branches of trees nearby the lake.    It was still early so I decided to explore the surroundings of my camp. I took a long walk around. I didn't smell any rouges anywhere near. "Thank you for keeping me safe here, Moon Goddes" - I thought. I was walking for about an hour when I smelled it... The border of the Purple Moon pack. The place that was once my home, but forbidden for me at that moment. I felt saddnes washes over me. The feeling was so strong, as if it wasn't only my saddnes. And then it hit me - the smell of other wolves. They were propably patrolling the border. I didn't cross it, but I deffinetly got too close. I didn't know if they could smell me as well, since I was the Alpha and my senses were better, but it was possible they could. I smelled a rogue between them. It could be the Dark Alpha himself or someone he brought to the pack with him. Because technically he was still rogue unless the real Alpha accepts him to their pack. And that never happenned. It wasn't normal for rogues to keep their human side. I had no idea how he did it and if there are more wolves like him. The one thing I knew it wouldn't be wise to check it now. I was backing out, when I smelled something different. Mixed with the rogue scent was something extraoridinary. The scent of the cinnamon and dark chocolate. It was the best and the sweetest scent I have ever smelled in my life. At that moment I felt my wolf again. The feeling was faint, she was hidden deep inside of my mind, but she was so excited she couldn't hide it from me. Unfortunatelly she still wasn't ready to talk to me. We hadn't reconnect yet. Soon I couldn't feel her anymore. All of this was so strange. I couldn't understand what I felt or what was so great about that scent. The only thing I knew was I still had to run. I was trying my best to hide my scent, circling around to be sure I wouldn't lead them to my camp. Finally I was sure I lost them and I knew I was safe. I walked back to the camp. When I reached it, it was already getting dark. I examined the surroundings to be 100% sure I was safe and I went to the tent. I settled in my sleeping bag and thought about all that had happenned today. I couldn't feel my wolf anymore but I felt that we will be able to talk soon. While thinking about it all, I fell asleep.
