Sophia’s POV
Kane had just come through the doors and interrupted our meeting. How did he even know about it? Nobody had told him about it. How did he get around his guard? His eyes scanned the room, looking at all the people there. When his eyes landed on us, he stepped forward and began to speak.
“Xander, Sophia, I need to speak with you in private right now.”
“I am sorry, but we're in a meeting and you will need to wait outside for now,” Xander said.
“This is an emergency situation; I need you now.”
Xander groaned and looked around.
“Please excuse us for just a moment, apparently there is something I need to attend to for a moment.”
He grabbed my hand and led me towards Kane. He walked past him and through the door. As soon as the door shut, Xander growled at Kane.
