Xander's POV
I came back this morning to see my beautiful mate and kids before this afternoon as we didn't know what would happen and I ended up spending an amazing morning with her, but unfortunately, Kane was there. We both spent the morning with her naked in the sheets, and while it was amazing, I could still feel Kane being with her. It gave me an ache in my chest. I had to figure this out soon because neither of us would give her up, but I didn't want to feel it whenever she was with him, even if I was there.
I went and gave all my babies a kiss and checked in with my dad to make sure everything was ready to go. My mom and sister would take the kids to our safe room, along with anyone else who couldn't fight. I had one more thing to do, and that was to have Kane call King Jag again
