Kane’s POV
I thought I would hear from Alex by now about confronting Tinlee, but I haven’t and I have tried calling him yesterday and today and his phone is off. That is unlike him. It’s also unlike him to not call me daily. We may not live in the same pack anymore, but we were still as close as can be. I picked up my phone and tried his again and still straight to voicemail and then I tried Tinlee’s and hers went to voicemail as well.
I heard my office door open and in walked my mate. Hailee. God, she was beautiful and perfect and I loved her so much.
“Hey Sugar, what are you doing?” I asked her as she came over and sat on my lap.
“I just missed you.” She said, placing kisses on my neck.
“I just saw you like two hours ago.” I told her as I relished in the kisses she was giving me.
