My Savior My Protector

Kylie POV As I ran through the forest, my heart raced with anticipation. I was supposed to meet my mate, the one destined to be my protector and companion. But here I was delaying with fate having other plans for me today. I heard the piercing screams of a werewolf female nearby, and my heart sank as I realized the source of the screams. It was Tamia and standing beside her while she struggled, there was none other than Allison. I know Tamia has always been against me because she believes I'm human and that the alpha belongs to Allison, but what I don’t understand is why she was being attacked by a group of ruthless rogues and Allison was standing by watching her. As I cautiously approached the scene, I could see the desperation and fear in Tamia’s eyes. Without hesitation, I stepped in to defend her, knowing that I could be putting myself in danger. The rogues snarled and bared their teeth at me, but I stood my ground, determined to protect the stranger who had always treated me with animosity. Allison scoffed... “Nice of you to join the party. I set the bait and you fell for it. "Boys, this is the real deal, that one is just the appetizer.” She said wickedly. “Allison stops this nonsense. I am your friend. I have always supported and stood by you. "Why are you doing this to me?” Tamia cried. “Because sweetheart, I don’t want any loose ends. "A minute ago, you were in full support of my plan, but after you saw the rogues you began doubting my plans and even went as far as threatening me to tell your mate about me?” She smiled slowly, and it gradually became a sinister smile with evil lurking behind it as she said. “You have no idea the things I am capable of. Now I don’t have to bother with the stupid mate of Liam or my foolish friend who thinks she can expose me.” Tamia, knowing the gravity of the situation, began to cry out loudly. Allison began walking away back to the pack house. “Oh and one more thing, don’t think about linking up with your mate because you can’t. The juice I gave you earlier was to make your thoughts foggy and block the mind links. "He won’t be able to reach you on time and also won’t feel that you are in any serious danger until it’s too late,” she said once more. I was more than irritated by her person. “Allison, you are despicable. You will never get away with this. Trust me” I shouted. “Shut up.” She yelled at me. “This is all your fault. Because of you, I have to take out one of the closest people I have in this pack, not that it matters. Anyway, I was still going to take her out later, but you made it quicker and different from my original plan. "I hate to change my plans along the way, but you just made me change my plan twice in a row. "Now everything will fall back in place when you are dead and Liam becomes mine again permanently, this time.” She laughed like a crazy witch. She sneered into my face with the rogues already forming a circle around me. She smiles again. “Now enjoy the show and say hi to the moon goddess for me will you. "Make sure to leave any trace behind,” she said to the rogues as she walked away from the scene. This is one of those times. I really miss Aunt Clara and her strength and power talks. But even when the rogues were closing in on us, I wasn't scared at all, but rather was thinking of an opening to escape. “I'm sorry…” a tiny whisper reached my ear. I turned to look at her. “I never knew I was dining with the devil himself. "I was willing to do anything to make our friendship stand firm so that I made lots of enemies.” A tear fell from her eyes. She looked up at me still sobbing... “Please forgive me” I bent down to her level and held her shoulders. “You are a werewolf, strong and bold. Do not allow someone else to run you down. And together we can win this and come out to put an end to Allison’s evil. "Will you fight with me not as your Luna, but as your friend in danger together.” I asked her. Her smile melted my anger and she nodded. We stood up together ready to fight. I could hear Clara’s voice in my head, reminding me that true strength and courage lies in standing up for what is right, even in the face of danger. With adrenaline coursing through my veins, I fought fiercely against the rogues, my fists flying and my determination unwavering. Despite being outnumbered, we refused to back down. And at that moment, I could see the respect and admiration in Tamia’s eyes, a far cry from the hatred that had consumed her before. As the last rogue was defeated, Tamia fell to her knees, tears streaming down her face. She thanked me as her savior, her voice filled with gratitude and newfound admiration. At that moment, our previous differences seemed insignificant, as we both shared a deep bond of bravery and resilience. Our encounter may have started with hostility and fear, but it ended with a newfound understanding and respect for one another. As we both sat there, catching our breaths, it became clear that we were more similar than we had ever thought. Both of us have been underestimated and judged unfairly because of our differences. But together, we have proven that courage and compassion know no boundaries. This is a testament to the strength of the human spirit, and the power of unity in the face of adversity. It is a reminder that we should never let our differences divide us, for in times of need, we are all simply beings fighting for survival. “We need to go, they might be more coming,” she suddenly said. “Can you mind linking up with your mate now…” I asked her. She shook her head negatively after some time. So we decided to leave immediately, but just after waking a few distances forward she stood and her hold on her head tightened. “Tamia, what’s wrong?” I asked her, looking fervently around my environment. She pointed at my stomach with so much fear in her eyes. I followed her fingers and looked at my stomach. I was bleeding profusely. That would explain why I was feeling faint all of a sudden. She rushed up to hold me before I could hit the ground. “Kylie no, no, no…” I heard her screaming. “Tamia, you have to stay strong and go get the alpha." I said, trying to sound okay. “I can’t leave you here. "What if other rogues come to attack you?” she resumed, crying again. “If you don’t get the alpha, I will definitely bleed out because you don’t have the strength to carry me now. Tamia look at me, I will stay awake till you get back, I promise,” I said, holding her hand. She hesitated for some time and then ran off with one last warning. “You better don't die on me. I need to know you better and make our alpha happy.” I smiled and told her. I can tell already that we are going to be best friends. After she left, I did my best possible to keep her awake. From afar, I could hear running steps and that awful rogue smell, but I kept holding on and keeping myself awake because, despite what Tamia had done in the past, I believed she would keep her words and come back with Liam. Slowly the rogues showed themselves. “What have we here? A meal well-prepared.” They all laughed to themselves. “I am not a meal, neither am I prepared for you. "I would advise you to leave now before the alpha gets here, otherwise you are toast,” I said. That stopped them for a minute, and before I could bask in my victory, one of them said “Then we had better feast fast before he got here.” My hopes dropped. Tamia just left. It would take time for her to get to the pack and then return with Liam. I might have died before they got here. Looking at these rogues, I know that I’m not in a good shape to fight them off, but I would rather die than let them touch me. Sensing that I was brewing for a fightback, they began coming closer faster than usual. The one on my left hit me with a force stronger than what my body can handle, and I almost blanked out. Another rogue came and pulled my hair from behind. Using his tongue to lick my neck down, he turned me around and wanted to forcefully kiss me. I bit into his lips and he let out a scream. I could taste the blood in my mouth and I quickly spat it out. He came at me and hit my already wounded stomach. I fell to the ground in pain, and he then hit my head against the ground. Just before my blanked out, I saw a beautiful gold and brown wolf running towards us and I gave a final smile, knowing that it was my mate, my protector, my savior, my knight in shining armor. Darkness consumed me peacefully, knowing he was there to rescue me.
