This place seems so peaceful and i can't help but want to stay here forever. Sitting by a lake that is as calm as the environment around. I looked around and heave a sigh of contentment.

“I could get use to this peace you know” I said to Myself.

Putting my legs into the water I'm so overwhelmed with joy from within. A type of joy that I have never experienced ever since my parents left me.

“We never really left you honey” an all too familiar voice spoke from behind me.

I turned slowly not wanting to be disappointed but at the same time not wanting to fail the moment by not believing at all.

Standing a few distance away from me was my mother, radiating her natural beauty just like when she was still alive. I felt light as I ran immediately into the already open arms of my mother

“Mom are you really here or am I just dreaming” I couldn't help but ask. She smiled and said

“I’m truly here my love.” And my tears began running non stop

“Mom you get…. you promised to always be there.. but you left, you left, you left” I kept crying sniffing and talking

“There there my darling, I never left you, I am always with you right in your heart. I have being with you and will always be with you.” She hugged me again.

As I was drowning in her warmth, Suddenly I felt my mum tensed, I can sense it from the hug and with the gradual change in the environment

“Kylie listen to me, you have to go back, this is not your place. You need to believe in yourself. You are very special my dear child. You are special and there is a special someone waiting for you to open your beautiful eyes and look at them.

Remember that what you seek is inside and trust your new partner. He means well for you and your best answer to conquer and get me out of her.” She said try to push me away from her

“Mum, I don’t understand what are you saying, what are you saying? Special someone? Who is this special Someone” I asked quickly all in one breath

“He is close to you already, he will hold your hands and never let go. Trust in him and your aunt Carla they mean the best for always.

Kylie you have to go now, a storm is coming and you must be ready. You need to train hard for the help that is within to raise. For what is coming is not for the weak. I know you can do it, I trust you my angel I love you pumpkin.” She said still pushing me of her. I look at her with tears pouring down my eyes as I'm trying not to let go of her

I'm not in anyway ready to lose my mum again after all those years of not seeing her. Even if I have to go back I will take her with me

“Mom no!! Not again.” I cried out holding her hand really tight.

But She pushed me into the lake. I tridyscreamed, but the water entered my mouth,

And from the dept of the water I saw something that left me in goosebumps I saw a dark cloud consume my mother, while she smiled bitterly at me

“No no no” I screamed so loud again from under the lake before the water cover me

It was so painful and I woke up screaming.

“It’s okay sweetheart, I'm right here, I’ve got you and I will never let anyone harm you.” Those were the words I woke up to.

Who owns that voice? And where am I? The place smell like disinfectant and medicines, I looked around only to find out I'm at the hospital and Liam was smiling at me with so so much relief displayed on his facial expression.

“I’m so glad you are back.” He said hugging me gently like his life depended on me.

I was surprised I just couldn’t understand what was going on but I know that one thing is certain I need that hug so I just have melt into it. He released me looking into my eyes.

Oh how I would love to get lost in those eyes of his but right now, I seriously in need water.

I looked at Liam trying to tell him but with my raspy voice he understood immediately and got me a glass of water. After drinking I smiled and relaxed back down on my pillow.

Although the situation feels so awkward for me but I can see that Liam seems relaxed and not even bothering to hid his excitement of my waking up.

I sighed quietly that man really did a number on her. Speaking of that man I decided to ask her Hercules about it.

“What happened to the man who wanted to kill me” I asked.

I could feel him stiffen a bit and sigh

“He killed himself before we could take him for questioning. But don’t worry nothing will come your way again. We will be right here with you all the way.” He place his hand on my hand and the sparks flew causing me to remove my hands quickly.

“ Uh- I'm sorry it’s not like I hate you or anything it’s just this strange feeling that ran though my hands that made me react this way…” she tried explaining and I could feel the heat rush to my face. And I quickly lowered my head. After some seconds I raised my head and loyat him

He’s just smiling and said “You don’t have to worry about that. I am here if you need anything and I’ll get your aunt, she has being worried sick about you.”

But without moving or using his phone aunt Carla came rushing me He smiled at me once again.

“Oh my love am so sorry I wasn’t home. You got me so worried that my hairs almost became grey” she joked and I laughed and hugged her back.

I seriously really want to ask my Aunty Carla some questions but with mighty hawk around, it would be impossible so after the jokes and apologies, she whispered to Aunty Carla to remove Liam for some few minutes.

Surprisingly Liam decided to excuse us after I told my aunt to ask him to leave the room for a few minutes.

I'm sure he must have understood the situation and act accordingly even before my aunt asked him.

With Liam out of the room, I looked around the room toto check if there are any lurking around after which I breathe in and out, and the questions started rolling out

“Aunty Carla I don’t understand what’s going on, what happened? Who was that man and why does he want to kill me and most importantly why is Liam still around me? Does it have anything to do with him?”

The questions came with tears also. The hours of trying to be brave in front of Liam melted away with my aunt present and I couldn’t help but cry my eyes out.

“Oh my love, it’s not your fault. I really wish I had prepared you earlier for this but I never thought it would happen again and even if it happened again, I never thought it will be too soon” My aunt said in one go. Her eyes wetting up

I stopped crying and looked at her in shock. What is my aunt saying.

“I don't understand Aunty Carla what do you mean, is there something you are not telling me. Do you know why that man wants to kill me. And even when he was about to hit me I listened to his heart and found out that he won’t be the only one. What’s going on Aunty please tell me” I couldn’t help wiping the tears as they roll.

“Please calm down Kylie. I need to tell you some few things and it might not be exactly what you expect to hear but please trust me I did what I did to protect you.” Aunty Carla sniffed and said

I'm already getting scared so my words fail me I couldn't reply but I gave a nod to say give her a go ahead. Aunty Carla took a deep breath and looked into my eyes and said.

“I am a werewolf, same as your grand father and great grand parents. We come from a strong family of werewolves.

But grandpa’s mate happened to be a human and he couldn’t reject so he accepted her and they got married.

Her gene made your father a human and same goes for you.

As you know your mother has telepathic powers, but what you don’t know is that she has strong ties to this very pack.

The night she was to leave the pack with you after finding out that Marlie Hunt had escape from jail she was killed by a pack member.

She loved this pack and wanted to live for the rest of her life but when Marlie threatened our family before going to jail she started making plans to leave.

The then alpha told her not to worry that Marlie cannot escape.

That night she called to to tell me that Marlie has escaped and she was heading towards us I knew something bad would happened.

She gave me a strict instruction to make sure I take you away from the pack to a place far away until you are ready.

I wanted to say refuse her, but she said it’s for the best, I had no choice but to agree and then she…she was killed.

I have tried my best to keep it a secret because it was what your mother wanted, but then you wanted pincrest schools and was going all out to make sure I accept it.

I saw it as a sign that maybe it’s time so we came. But now I feel like I have made a grave mistake.” She finally stopped talking.

I couldn’t get my eyes off my aunt after everything that was said.

“Okay if I may ask why is Liam being around us. What’s his part in this story of ours..” I asked waving my hands around already having a slight hint but just wanted to satisfy my wondering heart

“He is the alpha of this pack and also…” She pause for some few minutes looking at me st
