Paige’s point of view
Being physically removed from the hospital was completely humiliating.
Sophia and Elliot were both standing behind the desk looking anywhere but me whilst I was facing them, but as soon as my back was turned I could feel them giving me death stares as I walked away. I suspected they were mind linking at the same time. Almost every wolf in the pack would know about the incident within the hour.
A couple of nurses were taking their break outside. I knew they had already heard the rumor because they were looking at me like I was crazy. No doubt the story had already escalated into something it never was.
“The Alpha wants me to put you under house arrest,” Marcus said.
“What?” I scoffed. “Marcus, you can’t be serious.”
