Paiges Point of View
I took a deep breath and inserted the fat brass key into the huge double doors of the store. Thea, who was standing right behind me, was a ball of anxious yet excited energy. I hadn't known where my new building was, so I'd asked her if she had the time to show me. She looked at me like a proud Mom, and agreed instantly.
An hour ago, I was worried about how I was going to explain the fact that I somehow owned a property in her town. But for once, her boundless curiosity didn't seem to bother her. Which I would put down to more magic at play.
