"What are you doing here?" Thea exclaimed when I walked into the store. "You're supposed to be off with Oliver."
"Change of plan," I told her, smiling widely. I couldn't wait for Thea to meet Livvie. My old life and my new life were about to combine with each other.
She looked at me suspiciously. "For someone who was so upset yesterday, you look incredibly happy this morning."
"I have my reasons." I teased, before remembering what I needed to talk to her about. This was going to be an emotional roller-coaster.
"Well, your story is going to have to wait, because you young lady, have a gift to unwrap."
"A gift?"
"Yeah, dickless came in first thing this morning and dropped it off." Jessica humphed.
"Dickless? Mr Walker has a new nickname?" I chuckled.
