Chauncey announces, gesturing to the man beside him. “He will be in charge of your health and will care for you while you are here in the villa. He will also be monitoring your progress as well as the baby’s.”
My eyes widen when I recognize the doctor that Chauncey was introducing to me. He was none other than the kind doctor who checked up on me and gave me the ‘good news’ about my pregnancy.
