“Looks can be deceptive, Sergeant,” Howell replied. “It's American designed but built over here under licence. “Ah yes,” Howell replied. “As I told you earlier, we have two submersibles on board and rather than refer to them by their identification numbers, which seemed a tad impersonal, the dive crews christened them Holmes and Watson. Seemed appropriate really, as they are used mostly for underwater investigative purposes.”
