Ross was allowing the information Ethan Tiffen had given him to assimilate itself into his thought processes in relation to the case, Detective Constables Sam Gable and Derek McLennan were seated in the lounge of the house that Aaron Decker had shared with his two friends, both of whom sat on the sofa resembling a pair of bookends, as Gable and McLennan took up the two matching armchairs.
