Lana P.O.V I lay on the bed and I got extremely frustrated, it just felt like the pain wasn’t going away. The searing pain was spreading all through my body and I whined. I needed the pain to just go away. This week felt extremely long. I kept on writing down and trying to communicate to Alexander that he at least needed to do something to lighten this for me, but he wouldn’t have it. He didn’t want to listen. He took away my notebook and pen and simply just said: “I will not mark you, not now, no matter what!” Alexander refused even to give me a new notebook or pen. I took one of my books that I was busy reading and ripped a page out of it. Now, I only needed to find a pen. I would replace the book at some other time.
