I laid there on the bed, all alone. Alexander stormed out of the room to his office once he thought I was asleep. I really didn't know what to do anymore. I knew that Alexander wouldn't kick Carter out of the pack just for the sake of him cornering me. I sighed and rolled around a bit. I knew that Carter would find a way to make sure I was miserable and would likely spin some story to Alexander about Goddess knows what.
Alexander came into the room about an hour later and was surprised to see me awake. He smiled softly at me before coming to sit down next to me. "Look, I'm so sorry about what happened with Carter.
