As I raced across the hallway, pausing every second to catch my breath, my eyes darted around in search of Brad. I needed to speak to him and most importantly, find out the truth.
I was conflicted but I wasn't angry with him anymore. At least not like I was earlier. I couldn't get what he told me in the morning out of my head. And after Valerie's confrontation, I realized he told me the truth.
