When they reach their home, Sola sighs in relief. She’d half expected their cars to be assaulted by Hendrik’s men. Jihyun had inevitably started a war between them when he’d shot Cedric and Sola hadn’t expected that they’d come out of that as well as they had.
She looks to her cousin now, who seems calmer than she’d been earlier that night. Aria gives her a reassuring smile before turning to Jihyun and lightly shaking him awake.
“We’re home. The medics can tend to you properly,” she hears Aria mumble to Jihyun, who stirs slightly.
When he is fully awake he hisses in pain again, his eyes clenching tightly. They move to get all of the injured ones to the medic room in the basement, where doctors tend to them. Jin and Jae are glued to each other as Jin’s wounds are properly treated.
