The first time Ian calls them to update Lucas on their positions, both Aria and Lucas are beside themselves with worry.
“Stop worrying,” Ian chuckles, “We got here just fine. Scouted the area and didn’t find anything suspicious. I’m kinda sad that we’ll have to live off of instant noodles and canned food for a while, but other than that, we’re doing okay.”
Aria lets Lucas and Ian speak for a bit, but she’s fidgety the entire time. Eventually, Lucas takes pity on her, “How’s Jihyun?”
“He’s doing okay,” Ian tells them but his smile is sad. He looks off camera for a second and Aria hears a quiet murmuring, “He’s not in the mood to speak to anyone,” Ian grimaces in apology.
“Okay,” Aria nods, giving him a small smile, “As long as he’s doing okay.”
