Chapter 8 - Something New

  Blessing's POV 

  I woke up to sun rays in my face . I rolled out of bed and into the bathroom. Now to start my day, I grabbed my hygiene bag and took a shower then I got dressed. I then walked over to wake up Malik. This hotel room was nice to bad we didn't really get to enjoy it. (Blessing down below)

   "Get up babe, I got school ." I said as I shook him. He got up and we discussed him getting extra 

hours on the room so that I'd be able to take his truck to school and pick him up afterwards. 

  I got in his truck and crunk it up then sped off to school. I shot Breyale a text and went to pick her and Brandon up for their first day. "Hey slut" she said greeting me as she hopped in, after strapping Brandon down. "Sup hoe" I said pulling off to Dunkin Donuts.  When we arrived I ordered us the same thing then we went to the school building. 

  We got in the school and went straight to the office. Everyone was looking at us with stank faces. "Blessing your hair !" Bre said dying. Damn I knew I forgot to do something.  I put my hood on and walked inside. (Breyale down below)

   "Good morning, can you print my schedule for me ? Today's my first day."  Breyale asked the secretary at the front desk. "Last name ?" "Stone" "and first name ?" "Breyale, b r e y a l e" she responded with patience. She printed it off and handed it to her. It also had Brandon's caregiver up there.  I took out my hair brush and brushed through my sew in as we walked down the stairs to drop off Brandon. The warning bell had rung and they actually took Brandon in quick. We entered the class just as the late bell rung. We took our seat and Mr. Montez walked up to the front of the room.

  "Good Morning, I need everyone to turn in there packet from Friday." Breyale turned my packet in for me, he looked real confused when he seen that I had turned it in but was still in my seat. "I see we have a new student, introduce yourself" he said catching on."Hey, My names Breyale" she giggled. "Any questions or comments" Mr.Montez asked the classroom. "Are y'all sisters ?" A boy name Aj asked. "Yeah, were twins" she said answering him. "Y'all fine as f**k" he responded and I rolled my eyes. School went by fast. Breyale was upset, because she had to do a packet for this week and the packet that we just turned in for first period. The bell rung and we got up to leave. She picked Brandon up and I quickly checked my phone before pulling off.

  I responded to Kennedy telling her Malik's address then I pulled off to his house. Bree's boyfriend didn't get in till 12:00 p so she decided that she'd just roll with me today and that it would be a girls day. After getting to Malik's house I walked in and it looked COMPLETELY different.

                                                           Blessing's POV

        "Malik !" I screamed walking around the house. He was in the kitchen smiling when he seen my face. "So you moving in ?" He asked me as I just stood there looking stupid. I hugged him for a long time breathing in all his scent. He smelt so good.

      "Yes" I said letting him go. He smiled, and handed me a set of keys. Then somebody rung the doorbell. I answered the door and it was just Kennedy. "Hey bitchhh !" She screamed embracing me in a hug. "It's been forever !" I said letting her go. We both walked to the kitchen. "Kennedy, Breyale. Breyale, Kennedy. That's my sister and this is my best friend." I said in one breath. They said there hello's and so did Malik. "What you got to eat." Kennedy asked going in the fridge and pulling out food to cook. Breyale looked at her crazy, but she just had to understand that Kennedy's my best friend and this is just how comfortable we were around each other.

      "Bre I'll  lay Brandon in Mai's crib" Malik said and she passed him over. "So what you been up to ?" I asked Kennedy taking a seat on the counter. "Well, my car has been in the shop, because me and Tay broke up and he slashed my tires!" She said on the verge of getting mad. I laughed "why y'all break up ?! Y'all were together for a long time."  "It's because of his ex , long story short he mentioned this wasn't we're he wanted to be." She said shrugging her shoulders. "Awh I'm sorry Ken" I said hugging her. "Nah I'm good I'm enjoying this single life" she said twerking a little. I had missed her, it's just I had a lot going on with myself and so did she. That didn't stop her from being my best friend though.

         "What you making ? Rotel?" I asked grabbing a chip out of the bag and eating it. "Yeah ! I been wanting some but ain't have the stuff to make it and when I go shopping I forget" she said adding the rotel to the ground beef. I connected my phone to the Bluetooth and out blared No Letting Go by Wayne Wonder. "Got somebody she's a beauty !" Malik came in dancing behind me. Breyale was weak as f**k. "What you know bout this Malik?" She said rocking back and forth. He laughed still singing to me.

        "Y'all can eat now!" Kennedy screamed out of the kitchen. We all came and made our plates. After settling down to eat, there was a ring at the doorbell. "I'll answer it babe" I told Malik heading to the front door. "Who is it ?" I said peeping out of the door. "Mikale" I heard a deeper voice from the other side of the door. I opened the door to see a familiar face. "And you are?" I thought out loud. "Malik's Cousin" he said pushing passed me and into the house.

            "RUDE ASS!" I said slamming the door behind me. "What's wrong?" Malik asked me while dapping his cousin up. "Asshole pushed me!" I said taking my seat in the dining room. "What you mean he pushed you" Malik said getting built up. "I'm over here all of the time and never seen her I thought she was one of your hoes" the cousin rushed to say. "A hoe ?" I questioned looking at this little bitty boy with a death stare. Kennedy looked over at me and noticed how heated I was getting and mugged him to. "Yeah someone he was just f*****g on" the cousin said like it was normal out of his mouth. "You need to get some respect" Malik said smacking the back of his cousins head."I apologize" the cousin managed to get out. "Mmhmm" I replied eating my cheese dip. "So y'all staying the night?" I looked towards Kennedy and Bre. "Yeah" Kennedy responded, "I keep a overnight bag in my car." I looked towards Breyale waiting for her to reply but she was to busy stuffing her mouth with food. 

      "I guess that's a yes Bre ?" I said getting her attention. "Mhmm" she said still eating her food. I went upstairs looking for Malik to let him know my plans. He was in his room and the door was cracked so I couldn't help but to listen. "So what yo f**k ass done did Nah" Malik asked Mikale with a weird look in his face. "Nothing I just missed my cousin" he said shrugging his shoulders. Malik starred at him with a dumb face. "Aiid, I need some money" he said letting out some air. "What Like quick money or money" he asked unaware of what his cousin was trying to do. "Quick money, I got a baby on the way." "Alright . We'll head out tonight I'll tell you the details on the way."

  There was a light knock on my door, then Blessing appeared. "Malik the girls are going to stay over tonight if that's okay with you" she said looking from me to Mikale. "Yeah that's cool"
