AC/DC- Girls Got Rhythm Liliana Mordred, Crystallis Infinite:     Hate. How does one become hateful? What does it take to get to a point where hate is the only thing left inside of someone? I wasn't always like this. I had once loved, that I am sure of. The world I now own took everything from me and somehow I ended up the one in charge of making sure these f*****g imbeciles survive.      My story begins like any other. I was born to a loving mother and father. The difference between me and everyone else is, my father was the King of the Avalon and my mother was the Queen of Charlemagne. The people never approved of their union. My father's knights turned against him. Only a select few stayed loyal to him.      None of it was enough. I was nine years old when they came for us. I watched as Sir Gwaiin drove his sword through my father's chest. As Guenivere slit my mother's throat. When Gwaiin turned his sword on me, my grandfather saved me. Mor Mordred nearly killed them all before binding his life to my own to remain by my side until I was of age. The death of my father took its toll on him and I had been his only salvation.      The time of transcendence has come. My grandfather offered his life and soul to make me the strongest Goddess known in the multiverse. In his death, I will surpass the new Verse Queen and take her place as the only Queen of all the realms.      War and Salvation. Don't make me laugh little girl. You don't know what pain is. You don't know what it's like to have everything taken away. To stand over the piles of corpses of my own flesh and blood, of the people who were supposed to follow in step with my father who had given everything to free them. She doesn't know what it's like to be hidden away and trained to take back what rightfully belonged to me anyway. I have known war and salvation never came at the hands of a mere princess. I saved myself.     "My Queen, the new Fate is here. She says it's taken her some time to find us. That we didn't exist in the Multiverse until your grandfather's demise," Merlin announced.      "How many times have I asked you to knock, Merlin?" I asked, watching him through my mirror as I finished applying the highlighter on my cheekbones. I look amazing today. How lucky is it that new fate gets to see? He lowered his head apologetically.     "Forgive me, your majesty. Old habits die hard," his tone is cold. He hates me probably as much as I hate him.      "I'll overlook this for now. Take the bodies out. Burn them," I instructed him.      "You killed them both?" he asked. He walked over to the bed without flinching. It's something I like about Merlin. My sick side doesn't bother him in the slightest.      "Not this time," I laughed. I walked over to him so he can zip up my dress. He did as gently as possible. "I made them fight after I had my way with them. The blond killed the ginger and the ginger bled to death after. It was quite entertaining. Perhaps I'll invite you next time,"      "Don't gest," he scolded. "Your guests are waiting,"      "Merlin, don't be so dense. I've seen you give way to temptation. It's why I keep you around," I winked at him as I slipped my stilettos on.     "I live to serve you, my Queen. You can do with me as you please. Asking me to return the courtesy is not right. You are far too pure for the likes of me,"      His words made my face flush. My red mana flared as he opened the door for me to walk out. It's rare when I feel flattered and the feeling has only ever come from him. The only man in our world my father trusted. The only one Mor trusted to teach me. The only man Alyssa wishes to be at my side.  The new fate is a familiar face. So is the man with her.      "You're the new Fate?" I asked taking a seat on my throne.      Elise looks shocked. It could be what I'm wearing or the fact that my throne is made of the bone of all those who betrayed my parents. Maybe she knows some version of me that's isn't as lively as I am. Whatever the case, the expression on her face is lovely.      "I thought we were waiting for the queen," the man pulled her to him. Interesting.      "Forgive me. You look like them. I thought you would know. I am Lilianna Mordred. The Blood Queen of the Avalon. If you'd like a more formal introduction.  I am Lilianna Mordred Goddess of Sin and Hatred. I'll have you know, Sir Gwaiin. Knights are not welcome in my world. I don't care what realm you're from,"      "Assure you, Kid. I'm no knight. Watch the way you talk to me," he glared. I laughed at the sure way he speaks. Just like the other one. Always thinking he's ten steps ahead when really he was an entire lifetime behind when I put him on his knees and killed him in front of all my people.     "You come into my home and you threaten me? That's bold. The last Gwaiin to look me in the eye, I killed him. The skull over my right shoulder belongs to him. The murderer who slew my father. I'm surprised you made it all the way here without any trouble,"      "You mean your poor security? There was no trouble at all. They should thaw out by morning. They're very much alive," he smirked. If I get mad now, they're all going to die and if this Elise is anything like the one native to this world, she'll be difficult to handle. I'm not in the mood today.      "What is it you want here?"      "An audience," Elise answered.      "I've granted you an audience," I scoffed.      "No, not for us. The King and Queen wish to know all of their subordinates and you're one of them,"      "Do I f*****g look like a subordinate?" I shouted. That's not going to fly with me.      "You look troubled," she answered honestly. "You reak of death. Your parents would be disappointed in what you've become, Lilianna,"      "Really?" I laughed. "This world was s**t when I got here. I've single-handedly obtained absolute peace, I've solved poverty, no one goes to bed hungry, and all have the same rights to be as they are. There are no ranks or segregation. There is just me and my people living. Those who are strong survive and serve. The perfect society. There are no more wars here. I decline her request. Tell her exactly what you saw here and tell her if she wants me, she's more than welcome to come meet me,"      "You're cute, kid. You have the makings of a true Mordred Queen," Gwaiin scoffed.      "As opposed to the Pendragon Princess?" I asked.      "Correct," Elise answered this time.      "Lily Pendragon will only ever be the Princess of the Avalon, but it's not because she wasn't worthy of the throne. She simply can't play such a mundane role in this multiverse. She's a goddess, the type that rules over all the other gods. Queen of the Avlon," she scoffed. "It's a cute title. The Avalon is just a place in the verse she rules. We'll pass on your message. She'll get back to you if she thinks it's worth her time. It's a cute throne. I reckon my Queen can build your entire kingdom of the hell she's raised since becoming a Goddess,"  Lily:      I can feel the warmth in this world. It's blowing my mind. How is this even possible? Everything looks like it's out of a romantic sitcom. The way the bushes are cut, the decorations, the trees. I want to get officially married here. There is no other place for that but this one and people. Holy s**t, the people are all lost in their own romantic stories.      "I can't believe this is where we are right now," Lucille complained.      "Same," Young added.      "I love it here," Talia beamed. Her arm wrapped around mine. "This place is so romantic and cute. You feel that warmth. It's love,"      "Gross," Lucille and Young said in unison.      "Alright, we're not here for the sights," I interrupted. "This is a sketch of our target,"      "That's a terrible sketch. Who drew it?" Lucille snatched it out of my hand.      "I did," Young answered. "From memory,"      "Your memory? It makes sense," she added.      "I will f*****g kill you," he snatched it back from her.      "Anyway," Talia laughed. "Target looks kind of young for a merc. What are we doing?"      "Search and Rescue," Young announced. "This is our new timekeeper and we need to find him as soon as possible. The kid is a high kill priority to a lot of people. We need to find him before the power in him skips to the next vessel,"      "How do we know it's him?" Preston asked.      "These," Meerlyn interrupted. Merlin and his team are with her. She's holding a box with the glasses I asked her to make for me since I can't replicate time magic. Merlin handed them out to each of us.      "All hands on deck?" Gabrielle asked.      "All," I nodded. "We can't afford to lose this kid. I've gathered enough intel on him to let us know that he's alone and has been for a couple of years now. The power chooses the purest souls to reside in. The kid should be somewhere in this area," I project a map of the planet and pointed up towards the kill behind the town. "He hides up there. Now, that's the easy part. The hard part is, people go in there and they never return,"      "Which means the kid is smart. Groups of four at all times. We don't know what's in there. The reports are all inconclusive," Young added. I projected reports of what people report when they lose loved ones to this place. Monsters of all shapes and sizes.     "Aww man. I thought this place was perfect," Talia whispered. "I wanna go home now,"  Everyone chuckled at her little pouting face.      "Alright. We have four days before the power relocates. We will rendezvous here three nights from now. Midnight. Any questions?" I asked.      "What if some of us don't make it back?" Bann asked with his hand raised in the air.      "Then you're an i***t," Leon shoved him. "We get to kill whatever attacks, yes?"      "Whatever attacks," Young confirmed.      "Do we get survival packs?" Cammila asked. I smiled at her.      "Of course. They're already installed into your defenders," Young nodded.      "Last question," Brice raised his hand. "What if we find the kid before the rendezvous time?"      "Team leaders all have a beacon on their armor chest plate that lets us know the mission is complete. I can't stress this enough. Stay together. I can feel the mana of whatever these creatures are. It's low but it is angry. Tread lightly, don't let your guards down," I bowed to them formally. "If you find anyone alive. Bring them back with you,"     "My lady," they all bowed before heading out to their assigned locations.      "Be careful, Li. Nothing reckless," Young pulled me to him. He pressed a kiss to my lips and then pulled away without an official goodbye.      "Why can't we link on this planet?" Preston asked me as we started to move towards the hills directly behind the town hall.      "The core is malt ruby. We have good mana reserves to last about a week here without any side effects. After that, it begins to siphon quickly. There's something else we have to do as a group," I answered. The three of them turned to look at me. I held up a piece of ruby from back home. "I need to locate a piece big enough to make twenty-five bullets that fit a revolver,"      "Can we ask what for?" Meerlyn asked.      "I don't know yet, but I've got this feeling. Something is coming and it's not going to want to play nice with us,"      "Why can't you use ruby from back home?"      "It's not strong enough to kill a god. No matter how much we use. The ruby here is untainted by blood. The core has never revealed itself like the ruby back home. One-shot to the chest can stop mana flow. Two can injure and three will finish the job,"      "You think you can just run off without me?" we all stopped to see Creation appear behind us.      "I waited for you, didn't I?" I asked with a smirk.      "Stalling is not your best skill,"      "Nope. That's yours. Here, I got you new specs, old man," I tossed them at him. He put them on.      "I too got you a gift. I'll show you when we get back home," he smiled before greeting everyone. He's been a little clingy as of late. I think he feels it too.
