I hadn't checked on it in a long time. In fact, for the most part, I didn't want to see it. The pretty new shade of teal crystal growing in the core of Crystallis has flourished more than I had expected it to. It makes me think of my loss but for the most part, it makes me think of Fate. I've completely changed it. We're in a place in time when anything can happen. We're prepared for anything and we still have room to grow. I like this new world. It's perfect and once I've created a home for us, there will be nothing that will ever get in my way of keeping things the way they are. There's no more running, no more surprises. At least, none that can harm us.
