Blake’s POV Everything slowed down as I watched her sway. One moment Cassie was standing there, fury and frustration painted across her face; the next, her eyes rolled back as her knees buckled. I bolted across the room without thinking, vaulting over the coffee table in a single bound. Pure instinct drove me as I lunged forward, my arms stretching out to catch her before she could hit the hard tile floor.
