Blake’s POV By the time the sun came up, I’d maybe slept an hour. Every time I shut my eyes, I saw one of two things: Cassie’s face as she came out of the coma… or Cassie’s face last night under me, mouth open in pleasure, hands in my hair. Not helpful. I gave up around five, went for a run, then showered and shaved. I was now sitting at my kitchen island, coffee in one hand, tablet in the other, pretending I cared about profit projections more than the fact my d**k had apparently forgotten why we hated my wife.
