Pari's trance was full of movement. She could see in the dark just as well as Marrad, and she linked her heartbeat to his. They were in perfect sympathetic rhythm, but there was no stirring of Spirit in her. She simply felt like she was along for the ride. It was a thrilling ride - feeling his thrumming muscles pressed against her smooth body and the animal view of the wood sweeping past her.
