I sat in my office, restless. I had tried to focus on the documents in front of me, but it was impossible. My thoughts kept drifting back to Ariel.
It had been four days since she left. I’d sent my Gamma and a few warriors to search the pack grounds more than once, even up to the borders.
Nothing.
I told myself to forget her. I had Lysandra now... the woman I’d always loved.
