VIKTOR'S POV
'Coward!' Corbin cursed as I stepped out of Ariel’s room.
“Shut up.”
'She was ready for us and instead of taking her, you handed her some stupid toy.'
“She’s my brother’s mate. She’s forbidden,” I said, mostly to convince myself.
'The bastard cheated on her. His loss, our gain.'
“Still not interested, pest."
I slumped onto my bed and stared at the ceiling.
'I have a feeling nothing will happen to her,' Corbin pressed. "She’s different—are you blind? She’s the first one who’s managed to catch our interest without even trying.'
