17 Faithful Diary, I have seen the creature haunting my bedroom. I have seen her with my eyes. She returned to me in the early hours of the morning, before it was time to rise for work. I awoke, inexplicably, from the depths of slumber, to find Terra standing at the foot of my bed. Her head was downcast. I could not see her eyes. Her face seemed either very light or very dark—or perhaps both, simultaneously. Her countenance was too obscured by long black hair to say for sure. My skin turned icy cold beneath the sheets. I'd have done anything to rub my palms the length of my arms, to warm myself under the covers, but no matter how I tried, I found myself utterly unable to move.
