The visitation room was a gray concrete box under humming fluorescent lights. Reinforced glass divided the counter from one end to the other. Arthur sat on the far side in an orange jumpsuit that hung loose on his shoulders. He looked smaller than he had in his tailored suits. As soon as he saw me, he straightened. He placed both palms flat on the counter, taking the posture he used when he wanted to close a deal. "I knew you'd come. You're smart, Serena, in your own way.
