GILDA’S POV I froze. What was she talking about? “What message? From who?” I asked. “From Mr. Japheth. He asked me to tell you to meet him in his office, in the other building,” she said. My stomach sank, and my heart began to race. I knew what he wanted to do. He wanted me out of his house as quickly as possible.
