CHAPTER 3

My chest is beating loudly and I'm just dumb. Again and again, I remembered the face of the handsome doctor I had a one-night stand with.

Destiny is fine too. Playful, you'd think it was a doctor who had my one-night stand. And the worst is the Rare one they say is deployed here at the hospital where I work.

Ugh!

He can't recognize me nor even see me. I'm just scared and ashamed. I have about two weeks left before I go back to work. So I may not see him for another two weeks. The only problem is, what happens when the two weeks are over? How is that!? What should I do?

"Ath.." I just came back to Reality when someone called me.

Sh-t, it was Chuchu who brought me here. I should just get that Rare thing out of my mind first.

"Are you Okay? You look pale. You've been dumbfounded and anxious." Chuchu's Mommy asked.

I shrugged and smiled bitterly. "I'm fine hehe. Right Chu Chu, we're fine? We can still fight, right? Go go fight fight right." I said young Chu Chu lying on the hospital bed.

The skin is pale, the under-eyes are darkening and he's losing a lot of weight. Based on his eyes, he looks really tired.

"No...no." you said shaking your head but Tita, who is Chu Chu's Mom, just held me on the shoulder. It just nodded at me and smiled bitterly as if to say,

I closed my eyes, I also held my breath, I opened my eyes again and slowly nodded.

"You can rest now baby." I stammered.

It was late at night when I got home. And I went home first because I suddenly missed my room in the mansion.

When I entered, Ate Akisha immediately greeted me while she was happily playing with Akeila in the living room.

I just didn't pay attention to them and just went straight upstairs when I heard Akisha calling oh I mean Ate Akisha.

"Ath? Why didn't you come home last night? Did you cry?" I looked at it and gave it a cold look.

"I went home to the condo. Yes." I said as I hurriedly climbed up. I don't want to talk to him, maybe I can just say something to him.

I entered my room and immediately locked it. I stretched out on my bed because I felt very tired and heavy in my eyes.

I am WATCHING Akeila now because Akeila's Mom, Dad, and parents are busy. Because they are preparing for Ate Akisha's birthday. It's still next week, but they're already worried.

Because the party that will take place is grand, especially since they have a big announcement again. Well, even if they haven't said it yet, I already know what that is. Charl scrubbed quickly and I knew Ate Akisha was pregnant again. I saw that he vomited earlier. That's a sign, of morning sickness. He wasn't like that before so I know this.

Haynako, Ate is still good for the second time. I'm still gaping. It's been a week since I had a one-night stand but still nothing. I tried to take a pregnancy test but the result is still negative because it's only been one week since I had s*x. Maybe after 2-3 weeks, something will be formed. I'm so excited. Mom and Dad will no longer pressure me to have children because I will have my baby. I can't be jealous anymore.

I only have one week left of my vacation and boom back to work again and double boom I will be worried because I will see Mr. Rare who is my one-night stand but anyway, the hospital is big, so maybe I can avoid him.

"Baby Akeila is poor, Mommy has a new baby," I said to Akeila who was happily playing on the floor in her playroom.

"Hihihi." He giggled so I laughed too but suddenly----I noticed a strong smell wafting.

"Uhm baby, did you poo?" I have a question and you will answer. I peeked at his diaper and confirmed that he pooped.

I picked him up and stood up, I didn't bother to call the parents because I was going to change his diaper.

We went upstairs to go to Ate Akisha's room. Because there are things like diapers, alcohol, etc.

When we arrived, I opened the door with my left hand while I lifted Akeila from there with my right.

We went straight to CR and I washed him there.

"Hihihi. Tat-a." Akeila said giggling, making me smile. She's so adorable. I pinched her nose then I kissed her forehead. Gad! It's terrifying How I wish I had a child like him.

When I finished washing him, I also washed my hand and soaped it. Then, I laid him down in his crib.

"Just wait. I'll find where your diaper is. Don't be naughty." I said to her that she understood me.

"Hihihi." it just giggled so I smiled sweetly.

I rubbed alcohol on my hands first, then I took the powder and wipes. I put it on the bed. Next, I opened the cabinet where Akeila's diapers were kept one by one. When I saw that the diaper was there I grabbed one but I dropped it.

I bent down and picked it up but I noticed a black box under Ate's bed. I took it out and took it.

"What is this?" I said curiously. I want to open it but I will take care of Akeila later. I took him from his crib and laid him on Ate Akisha's bed.

I quickly wiped his underwear and then put powder on it and put the diaper on it. I put him back in his crib and immediately opened the black box.

Honestly, I just now entered my sister's room again. And why are you curious about this box? It's attention-grabbing because it's matte black color and I know Ate's attitude, she doesn't want to put anything under her bed because it looks dirty to her, so maybe it's not for her? Maybe it's Charl's?

Before I could think of anything, I opened it. And the colorful papers immediately appeared to me. It's like love letters.

Ate is very wise, she keeps aside all her memories from when she was a young girl. I wish I was the same, no. I am erased. lol

I scratched the box but suddenly my smile disappeared because I saw something I didn't want.

A picture of Ate. A man back hugs her. And that man is none other than Rare. I bit my lip while staring at that picture, maybe I'm squinting but it's him! Wait wait! Maybe it just loOkays the same. Yes right, I believe there are seven people in the world who look alike Yes yeah right right.

I was going to return the picture to the box but I noticed something written on the back.

'RARE MY FIRST LOVE'

I don't know Rare! Everyone who becomes my sister's boyfriend, I know and I know that Brother Luke is my sister's first love. So how is that Rare?!

The day flies by and it's back to work again. In the few years I have been working as a nurse, I am now hesitant to enter, because for me hospital is my home, and patient and my co-workers are my family now, I would prefer not to enter but I can't. I need it there.

Dr. is funny and clingy. Christian. Sometimes he is childish but when it comes to work he gets serious. That's what's good about him. I can say that He's the best doctor/surgeon that I've proven not like Dr. Rare because I've never actually seen him work. What do you expect? He's new here and I'm not curious about him so I don't read articles about him anymore.

"Hey? Are you Okay?" I came back to reality when I heard Kristan's call.

"Yes. Hahaha. Come on, we're already late." We walked into the hospital. I couldn't help but look around because Rare might suddenly be next to me.

I entered a room now because I'm going to draw blood from the patient here.
