"The choice is yours, Grey. I'm just explaining what really happened."
I did not respond to uncle Svaha's words, and let him out of my bedroom after a while waiting for my response which remained silent. I knew he glanced at me with a sigh before closing the door but I pretended not to see him.
What I needed was to calm myself down, not an advice or lectures.
This reality weighed heavily on me and made me desperate. Everything that happened was unexpected, and I felt like I was being forced to hand the stone back to Elena.
It's not funny anyway. It's only one step away, but why am I failing again and again?
What's wrong with me that failure seems so glad to come to me?
