Elena's POV
"Is there anything else you're hiding from me? Is there anything else you know but I don't?" I asked while looking at Grey.
"Elena..." Grey tried to grab my hand, but I quickly pulled it away. I knew that Grey was innocent, but I was angry when I found out that he was there on the night my parents died.
"But my parents were attacked by a group of rogues that night. I saw it myself," I said straightforwardly. I faltered because it was so hard for me to remember the bloody night that my parents died.
"They were just a distraction, Elena. Radolf is very cunning, and he knows how to play it neat."
Grey's words dumbfounded me.
"Why didn't you and your dad try to help us?" My voice cracked as I tried to keep myself together.
"How could you let Radolf do that to my parents?!"
