Elena's POV
"You better eat. I don't want you to starve to death!" Grey threw the food he was carrying in front of me. He was now crouched down as he looked at me with a sharp gaze.
"You're a liar." I cut in quickly. Yes, he was a jerk, a big liar who only used me as a tool to gain power and victory. But what could I do? Should I die, or should I survive to continue living?
What would it matter if he never spoke again? The only thing he ever said was lies. I had no reason to believe anything he told me. So why even try?
"Why don't you just kill me?" My voice was shaking with anger.
He stood up slowly, his eyes filled with hatred, "You forced me to do this, Elena. I expected you would listen to me, but you tried to mess up my plan!" He continued.
