Author's POV
A light appeared from above Elena's body, a light that was blinding to the eyes. The light blinded her, so that no one could see Elena as it descended and covered her entire body. Everyone in the place was hysterical and screaming in fear, but some were amazed. The light that descended on her seemed alive. A small light, not nearly as powerful or bright as the sun, but still enough to make people scream in fear.
"Mr. Smith, what happened, is she a witch?" One of the men carrying Elena's body shouted out loud in fear and confusion.
"Is this the work of witches? Mr. Smith?" His voice was shaking. Elena had never been called a witch before. No one had ever called her a witch.
